As his team gets ready to play Algeria’s CS Constantine in the second leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary stage, Nsoatreman FC coach Yaw Preko has acknowledged that his team would face a difficult opponent.
The Ghana FA champions were handed a challenging assignment for the rematch after losing 2-0 at home in the first leg of the match last Friday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The encounter that will decide the game will take place on Saturday at the Stade Mohamed-Hamlaoui in Constantine. Kickoff is set for 17:00 GMT.
To advance to the next round of the competition, Nsoatreman must overcome a two-goal deficit.
“We must work and observe the situation. It’s a tough mountain to climb, so we have to work hard, but we’ll go and do ourselves proud,” the coach remarked.
Nsoatreman advanced to this point after defeating Elect-Sport of Chad in the first round, but they will require even more work to defeat CS Constantine at home.
The Algerians are favorites with a two-goal lead, but Preko’s team is motivated to fight for a win and maintain their dreams of qualifying for the continent.
