Issaka ‘Baba’ Seidu, a left-back from Ghana, made the jump from the development setup to the first squad of Danish team FC Nordsjalland.
Seidu spent time with the Farum youth team before joining Nordsjaelland in June. Seidu attended the renowned Right to Dream Academy in Ghana.
However, the first team signed him when he showed great potential and a desire to advance. Baba will now wear the number 30 jersey and be a permanent member of the senior team.
Baba is a player we have been observing for a while. He excels at left back and has a very fast top speed. He also has good defensive duels. Because of his offensive prowess and quickness, he’s a great weapon in our breakthrough game, and we hope to see even more of that in the Superliga, according to the club’s technical director, Alex Riget.
The gifted defender says he is ready to contribute to the first squad and is thrilled with his development. It is significant for a young player like myself to make the permanent move up to the Superliga squad because I have been with the team for a long time,” he stated.
