Ghanaian defender King Manu, who was born in Germany, is on loan at Hansa Rostock from Fortuna Dusseldorf.
The teenage star signed his first professional contract with Dusseldorf and went on season-long loan to the German third-tier team.
As he continues to grow, Manu thinks that moving to Rostock is the best decision for his career.
“After speaking with head coach Amir Shapourzadeh and my already-known Chris Kinsombi, I felt immediately that this was the best course of action for me. After inking the contract, he stated, “I believe that my abilities can benefit the squad and that I can continue to grow as an athlete and a person.
I feel at ease in all central positions and am useful in a range of roles. But because I’m an aggressive player who strives for victory, I can also play central defense. I’ll give it my all and am excited for the year ahead at Hansa with the supporters.”
Manu’s physical abilities, according to FC Hansa Director of Professional Football Amir Shapourzadeh, will help the squad succeed.
Above all, King Manu’s aggressiveness and mindset won us over.
“He has excellent physical qualifications and can find answers even in confined situations because of his stature and muscle. King Manu adds another exciting element to our game with his power and unconventional style of play, making us harder to predict. We express our gratitude to Fortuna Düsseldorf for facilitating the loan of a very skilled player to Rostock.”
