Black Stars head coach Otto Addo said Sudan was “lucky” in their team’s match against the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on Thursday, October 10.
Ghana could not beat the Falcons of Jediane, who returned to the Accra Sports Stadium for the first time since 2021.
Addo had several chances on the day, but Antoine Semenyo, Mohamed Kudus and Inaki Williams failed to capitalize on second-half efforts.
The result means Ghana’s chances of qualifying for Morocco have vanished as they now have two points from three matches.
Speaking to the media after the match, Addo said: That’s it.
” “They will not be so lucky the next time we meet them in Libya.
” After Thursday’s draw, the Black Stars had two points from three games.
They now travel to Libya for their second game against Sudan knowing a win could see them finish second in Group F.
