This weekend will see the much awaited RENFAG Oldies League final, featuring SCC Sunday Stars Oldies taking on La Salem Oldies for the ultimate prize.

The formidable SCC Sunday Stars Oldies delivered the humble Madina Oldies a humiliating 4-0 loss in the semifinals. The Madina team found it difficult to match the opponents’ brisk tempo and wealth of experience, as they displayed expert seasoned football.
Conversely, La Salem Oldies secured their spot in the championship game on Sunday by defeating Ashaiman Oldies by a slim 1-0 margin. La Salem prevailed in a fiercely contested match by holding their composure, finding the back of the net, and edging over their rivals.
Football fans are excited for what looks to be an exciting match between two seasoned teams who have proven incredibly skilled and resilient thus far in the competition.
In addition to providing a forum for honoring the accomplishments of retired football players, the RENFAG Oldies League has given the veterans a chance to keep showing their passion for the game.
Fans will have the opportunity of viewing players like Kotei Blankson who had played for Liberty Professionals, Jonathan Quartey who before played for Goldfields and Kaizer Chiefs, Edward Sasu who previously performed for Great Olympics, James Tagoe, Adolph Adjei, Kojo Lee and many others who will feature for La Salem Oldies.
There will also be performances by former New Edubiase stars Isaac Boakye, Charles Dzisah, and Michael Appiah Kubi, who played in Thailand and India, respectively.
Former Accra Hearts of Oak players Yaw Akoto, Nicholas Addo, Sabashi, and former Asante Kotoko captain Godwin Ablordey will bring back fond memories for their supporters.
