For their match against Berekum Chelsea, Asante Kotoko has revealed that young sensation Jordan Amissah has been called up to start in place of injured midfielder Baba Yahaya.
In a Week 4 match of the 2024–25 Ghana Premier League, the Porcupine Warriors and Blues will square off today.
The highly regarded midfield player Baba Yahaya will miss the match because of a sprained ankle, Asante Kotoko revealed in a club statement on Saturday.
Head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has included teenage midfielder Jordan Amissah for the journey to Berekum to fill the vacancy left in Asante Kotoko’s matchday roster.
In the interim, Kotoko stated in a statement, “Youth star Jordan Amissah takes his place in our squad to face Berekum Chelsea.”
Today at Golden City Park, the Berekum Chelsea vs. Asante Kotoko game will begin at 3 p.m.
