David Oduro and Abdul Aziz Issah, two young Ghanaians, are once again missing from the Barcelona B team for their Saturday night match in the Spanish third division against Zamora CF.
The two have not appeared in any games since the Catalan team announced them, and it is unknown why they have not appeared in any games. It’s been suggested that before they may play, work permit difficulties might need to be settled.
Issah signed with Barcelona from Dreams FC, while left-back Oduro came from Accra Lions in the Ghana Premier League.
Earlier this year, Oduro underwent tryouts with the Spanish powerhouses before agreeing to a three-year deal with Barça Atletic.
Issah was a standout player in the previous campaign and was instrumental in Dreams FC’s run to the CAF Confederations Cup semifinals.
With four goals and two assists in ten games, the 18-year-old became the continental competition’s top scorer.
