Jadon Sancho, a recent signing to Chelsea, has drawn comparisons between football legends Ronaldinho and Eden Hazard. He showed off his skills in his first training session since being “rescue” from the Manchester United “graveyard.”
On August 30, the transfer deadline, Sancho moved from Manchester United to Chelsea on a season-long loan, with an obligation to purchase him outright for up to Β£25 million (β¬32 million) next summer. Blues fans have seen a taste of what he can accomplish on the training field since his unveiling at Stamford Bridge over the weekend; some are even saying he has been “saved” from United’s “graveyard”.
@SM13_CFC tweeted, “Thank God we saved him from that Graveyard,” in reaction to the footage of Sancho’s first training session with Enzo Maresca. @IcedOutPalmer replied, “We have our own Ronaldinho.”
Meanwhile, feroze17 made the following remark on the Instagram video: “He’s going to be a celebrity here! π΅π₯ I’m eager for his debut.”
“Sancho striking against Manchester United, and I will be thereππ,” maxwell_uko tweeted.
After a miserable tenure at United following his Β£73 million ($95.7 million) transfer from Borussia Dortmund in 2021, Sancho is hoping to restart his career. His miserable record at Old Trafford was summed up by a meagre 12 goals and 6 assists in 83 games and a falling out with manager Erik ten Hag. However, he now has an opportunity to move on from that painful chapter and create some success at Chelsea. Prior to the 2026 World Cup, the 24-year-old also plans to make a comeback into the England lineup.
Sancho might make his Chelsea debut on September 14 away to Bournemouth, or a week later against West Ham, when the international break ends next week. In any case, the former Dortmund loanee will be eager to start playing and make an immediate impact at the west London team.
