Alejandro Garnacho talked about how he and Marcus Rashford practiced on the training field, which helped him score Manchester United’s equalizer against Brentford.
In the Premier League at Old Trafford on Saturday, United overcame a 2-1 deficit to halt their five-game losing streak in all competitions. The Bees took the lead at the break thanks to a goal from Ethan Pinnock, but Garnacho equalized two minutes into the second half. The Red Devils needed three points badly, and soon after the hour, Rasmus Hojlund scored the game-winning goal.
Marcus Rashford crossed the ball perfectly for Garnacho to convert on a fantastic first-time volley in the 47th minute to tie the score for his team. Following the game, Garnacho congratulated the team on their mentality as they pulled off a thrilling victory. He also disclosed that the play that led to his goal was a routine training exercise he and Rashford did together.
