Alejandro Garnacho attempted to stop Cristiano Ronaldo from completing his famous celebration against Barnsley, according to Casemiro of Manchester United.
In the Carabao Cup match against Barnsley, Erik ten Hag’s United team ran wild, with Garnacho being one of three players to notch a brace. The Red Devils easily advanced to the fourth round thanks to goals from the Argentinian both before and after halftime.
In the 7-0 victory, Christian Eriksen and Marcus Rashford each scored twice. Ten Hag was happy to see Antony receive a penalty kick to start the season. Old Trafford was filled with celebration that evening, but after Garnacho’s first goal, Casemiro seemed to be trying to stop him from doing the same as Cristiano Ronaldo.
Supporters assert that Casemiro attempted to prevent Garnacho from imitating Ronaldo’s famous celebration, with others speculating that the midfield player didn’t want Garnacho to face consequences for dressing like his fiercest rival in Spain.

“Bruno and Casemiro really try and stop him after every goal,” stated @StraightAtHim in the interim. However, Garnacho is so shameless; I adore him.”
“Man, look at how Casemiro was dragging him to stop him from celebrating Ronaldo,” remarked @paapywes. “Look at how Casemiro tells him not to, and Garnacho was shrugging him off.. love it he does what he wants!” commented @Johnny19United.
