Nico Williams, the European champion, will start the 2017 season with Athletic Bilbao wearing the number 10 shirt.

The Barcelona target appears destined for another season at Bilbao, despite rumors that he is close to joining the Catalan giants.
Williams, who was involved in the European Championship in Germany, returned to training this week after a prolonged absence. Williams is the younger brother of Ghanaian attacker Inaki Williams.
The number 10 shirt that club legend Iker Munian previously earned was given to the winger on Monday.
Williams Jr. will now wear the recognizable number instead of his 11 shirt.
Barcelona may give up on the forward in the interim if they are unable to come to an agreement for the attack, as the transfer window is progressively closing.
Since making his senior debut for the team and leading the Rojiblancos to their first Copa del Rey championship in forty years, Williams Jr. has been an incredible presence at San Mames.
In July, Spain won their fourth European Championship championship in Germany after defeating England 2-1 in the final. He also scored in that game.
